Screen Printing

Will you be running an event where it’s essential your key players are easy to identify? Do you need fabulous new T-shirts for your athletic superstars? Would you like to promote your business or cause with wearable ads? Do you want to make your team appear more cohesive with logoed apparel? If so, screen printing could be the answer.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is a versatile, economical method of printing on garments and fabric. Choose from a vast array of durable inks in vibrant colors to recreate your logo, message or artwork. The screen printing process involves squeezing ink through stenciled screens. It allows screen printing professionals to consistently produce artwork with substantial detail in a range of sizes. The creative possibilities are limitless.

Other Printing Types

While screen printing is a big part of apparel decoration, several other processes are also available including heat transfers, colored rhinestones, sublimation, vinyl letters/numbers and Thermo-FILM®. By applying different types of heat applied transfers, unique accents are created for garments that will make them stand out from the crowd. Adding a touch of dazzle to your finished product creates a unique branding solution that adds dimension and shine to apparel. Heat transfers include rhinestones, rhinestuds, nailheads, foil, hotfix glitter, lithos, patches, lace and much more. You can create truly unique looks be combining different embellishments into a multi-deco transfer. Heat transfers can also be added to water-based ink prints and sublimation prints.

Which is best for my project?

The question many people have is “What is sublimation printing and why choose to sublimate vs. screen print”? Sublimation is the process of transferring dye to a fabric using heat. The image is printed on special paper placed on the garment and heat is applied, allowing the ink to become part of the fabric. This will leave you with a more breathable, soft-hand feel to the fabric. Sublimation is a great process that allows for vibrant, full color, all-over (seam-to-seam) prints. The answer truly is based on the number of colors in the design and the desired effect. Thermo-FILM® is typically the best heat transfer material for athletic applications and is created using a CAD-CUT process. With its low-bleed formula and superior opacity, Thermo-FILM® is a great choice for resisting dye migration on polyester garments. Whites stay white and team colors stay true. Resistant to abrasion, Thermo-FILM® is typically the #1 choice for full-contact sport uniforms.
